Do's and Don’ts of how to clean your makeup brushes!

DO invest in a brush shampoo. Simply rinse the hair of the makeup brush with lukewarm water, swirl the brush in the shampoo and then rinse once more with lukewarm water. If there’s a lot of pigment, you may need to repeat the shampoo and rinse cycle. Reshape the brush hairs and lay the brush flat to dry. Some great alternatives to a brush shampoo include baby shampoo (try Johnson’s Baby Shampoo) or gentle facial cleansers (Cetaphil works great). If you use one of these methods, be sure to dilute the shampoo or facial cleanser with warm water before cleaning your brushes.
DON’T use hand soap to clean your makeup brushes. Even more generally, don’t use ANY product that you wouldn’t use on your hair or face. Hand soap, as an example, is too harsh for the brushes and can cause them to dry and shed bristles.
DO be gentle when cleaning your brushes. Treat the hair on your brush the same way that you treat the hair on your head — you don’t want any of those bristles falling out!
DON’T soak your brushes in the sink. When cleaning your makeup brushes, it is important to think RINSE, not SOAK, and focus on the hair of the brush. If you immerse the entire brush in lukewarm water, the adhesive will dissolve over time, and your brush won’t last. For the best results, clean your brushes weekly or, at the very least, bi-weekly. Your makeup brushes are an investment and cleaning them is so inexpensive, so there’s no reason to put it off! Don’t let bacteria ruin your brushes and your skin.

Makeup For Different Occasions :-

Applying make-up is not difficult. All you need is to use it right. Though we all know that "beauty is skin deep" but it is necessary that one must care for one's body and appearance to look beautiful and attractive. Accurate makeup can make a woman look very attractive, elegant and give her much more self-confidence and self-reliance. Here we have brought for you makeup tips for different occasion.

General Makeup

For general makeup your aim is to create a very presentable and chic look.
First concentrate on the face. Hide those dark circles under the eyes and other blemishes by using concealer pencil. Choose a shade close to your skin color. Apply powder foundation or cream for more coverage.
For those beautiful eyes concentrate in shaping your brows and fill in thin areas with soft gray or brown pencil. Apply liner in soft gray or brown to bottom lashes. Use eyeliner for top lashes.
Apply two coats of brown or brown/black mascara. Do not use black mascara unless you have black eye lashes.
Apply powder blush on the ball of the cheek. Neutral shades are best since they give a softer appearance.
Line lips to define shape and apply lip color in bright tones for your color palette.

Casual Makeup

If you do not like using too much makeup then you can put on some light makeup. Creating a casual look is quick and easy.
Apply a concealer that best matches your natural coloring to correct under eye circles. Blend with a sponge.
The foundation powder should match with your skin tone. Apply it all over your face with a large powder brush. Include your eyelids but exclude the areas under your eyes.
Apply a soft, natural color powder blush to the balls of your cheeks.
Keep eyes simple and just use eyeliner. Apply a single coat of mascara.
Finish the look with a lip color that gives your skin and eyes a bright lift.

Professional Makeup

For working women makeup is not only essential but also most important to maintain the fresh look on your face. Thus the makeup has to be polished and professional.
Start by using concealer under your eyes and eyelids hiding those dark circles and creases. Blend with a sponge
Apply a foundation that best suits your skin tone. Blend carefully. If needed, add loose powder to set and soften the look.
Shape the cheek area by lightly applying a blush color to the areas just under your cheekbones, and a touch more to the balls of your cheeks and blend well.
Career eyes require only two eye shadow colors and eyeliner. Apply a light eye shadow over the entire eyelid. Apply a thin line of pencil eyeliner at your lash lines and smudge to set. Follow by applying a darker eye shadow along the lash line and blend well to create a soft, yet focused eye. Apply the same eye shadow in the crease to create added depth.
Apply one or two coats of mascara on the top lashes only.
Use a lip pencil that blends well with your lipstick color to define your lips. Add shape to your mouth and fill in your lips with a pencil. Apply the lip color that best suits your coloring as well as keeps your lips looking soft and professional.

Makeup for Romantic Evenings

Evening makeup needs and emphasizes to a more dramatic and sensual makeup. Your brows need to be more defined, eyes need to be expressive and lip colour need to be sensual.
First and foremost cover dark circles and blemishes with concealer pencil.
Highlight the brow with a shade darker than natural Colour and shape it properly. Apply light shade of eye color from lash line to brow. Apply a darker shade of eye color in a thin line in the crease of the eye followed by a medium shade over the darker one and blend well. This will make the structure of the eye appear stronger.
Apply black eyeliner to upper lashes. Line lower lashes with eye liner. Apply two coats of mascara on upper and lower lashes.
Apply a medium to dark shade of powder blush under cheek bone. Apply a lighter shade over the darker shade on the - ball of the cheek. Blend out and up. (Stay within your color palette)
Use lip liner and fill in with lip bright and sexy color.
